If there's anything we like more than the holiday season, it's undermining the holiday season, and nobody beats the reverence out of... well, anything, like Eric Powell's gloriously profane The Goon. As part of Dark Horse's ongoing "motion comics" initiative with Geek and Sundry, Powell produced this animated version of Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol with the cast of his ghoulish Goon series. Dickens' dialogue has been lovingly/sacrilegious modified in Powell's signature old-timey hobo/hillbilly style, complete with disparate accents and other various depravities. What you'll see below is only part one of The Goon's Christmas Carol, with part two set to drop like the proverbial yule log (<-- I thought Powell would appreciate that one) on December 19.
