The recent DC Universe Animated Movies have been great for the most part. "Wonder Woman" was a favorite. "Green Lantern: First Flight" was pretty cool. But more than any other film thus far, "Batman: Under The Hood" has captured my attention the most - and it isn't even out yet.

Part of that has to do with the amazing design for the Red Hood, an enigmatic figure from Batman's past that comes back with a score to settle against both the Dark Knight himself and his arch-nemesis, the Joker. Until recently, I only had the illustrated design to look upon with wanting eyes, but thanks to an upcoming statuette from DC Direct, it looks like I'll actually have a chance to stare at the character on my bookshelf.

Details on when the Red Hood statue will become available aren't currently known, but you can bet that will change when the New York Toy Fair gets underway this weekend. This statue is just one of many products that DC Direct will have on display at the show, so make sure to keep an eye out for more information as it becomes available.
