I’m With Her: A First Look At ‘Faith’ #5, Guest Starring Hillary Clinton [Preview]

Some people say that politics and politicians have no place in comics, but that's just not true. Captain America Comics #1 saw the hero punching out Adolf Hitler on the front cover; FDR was in an issue of Detective Comics two full issues before Batman debuted; and this November, Valiant's premiere female superhero teams up with presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in Faith #5.

The story featuring the former Secretary of State is written by Louise Simonson, with art by Pere Perez, and sees Secretary Clinton caught in the crossfire during a fight between Faith and a supervillain, and the hero having to take time away to make sure the Democratic Party candidate is unharmed. This isn't Clinton's first comics appearance, as she appeared alongside President Bill Clinton to mourn the death of Superman in the early '90s.

Faith #5 also continues the ongoing story being told by Jody Houser and newcomer Meghan Hetrick, as well as featuring an exclusive prelude to the upcoming team title Harbinger: Renegades by Rafer Roberts and Colleen Doran.
