‘Fantastic Four’ Introduces the Team in Four New TV Spots

The latest promos for Fantastic Four give each individual member of Marvel’s First Family their very own spotlight while introducing a bit of new footage from the upcoming reboot. Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell each get their own TV spot to help audiences get a bit more acquainted with their characters and their superhero personas.

Above, we meet Teller’s Reed Richards, who — along with his team — is gifted with super powers during a dangerous mission. Richards transforms into Mr. Fantastic with the ability to stretch, while Mara’s Sue Storm becomes the Invisible Woman, Jordan’s Johnny Storm becomes the Human Torch, and Bell’s Ben Grimm becomes the Thing. Each character is formally introduced in the four new spots, which also show off new footage from the reboot.

Note that Toby Kebbell’s Dr. Doom doesn’t have his own featurette, and we’ve seen little of him in the promotional materials as 20th Century Fox has been holding the villain back a bit, saving him for the main event. It would be interesting if they released a promo introducing us to Kebbell’s character pre-Doom, though.

Fantastic Four also stars Tim Blake Nelson and Reg E. Cathey, and hits theaters on August 7.
