Quick on the heels of last month's news that "X-Men: First Class" -- a prequel to the existing X-Men film trilogy based on the Marvel Comics superheroes -- would be set in the 1960s comes a series of leaked production photos depicting January Jones as Emma Frost, also known as the White Queen, with groovy period regalia in full effect! The '60s setting is a natural fit for Jones, who is best known for her Emmy-nominated role in the period drama "Mad Men" as the beautiful and dubiously righteous Betty Draper, a woman who would certainly disapprove of (yet secretly yearn to be and live among) a counter-culture group of sexualized evil mutants like the Emma Frost's Hellfire Club. Little is known about the "First Class" plot, but the telepathic Draper/Frost will presumably harsh on some poor mutant kid with the most intense, mom-like buzz-killing vibes and psychically punish another child for psychically masturbating, in both cases causing death, destruction, and the derailment of the Civil Rights movement.

Directed by Matthew Vaughn ("Kick-Ass") and also starring James McAvoy ("Wanted") as young Professor Charles Xavier and Michael Fassbender ("Inglourious Basterds") as young Magneto, "X-Men: First Class" is set to open June 3.
