First Look: Iron Man Movie Armor

OK...OK. After looking at the official website, I think it's safe to bet that this first image of the armor from the Iron Man movie is NOT what Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) will wear through the whole film. This has gotta be the suit he builds at the beginning of the movie -- I'm guessing while being help captive somewhere in the Middle East (Vietnam doesn't really work anymore, does it?). That said, this armor does look pretty freaking awesome, huh?

I'm starting to think that Iron Man is going to be a pretty fantastic movie experience. Great casting, smart director (Jon Favreau), drunk guy in a suit of armor that's faster than a jet and stronger than a tank ... what else could you hope for?
