‘Flash’ Season 2 Sets Mark Hamill’s Trickster to Return
The Flash showed immense reverence for its CBS predecessor in casting its many alum, often in the same roles, and Season 2 will prove no different. Following Trickster double trouble in Season 1, Mark Hamill himself will return to menace Barry Allen once more in Season 2.
Photos emerged over Reddit seemingly displaying the Star Wars veteran posed on set with Flash Season 2 crew, a return The CW reportedly confirmed to Comic Book Resources. That said, the network wouldn’t yet offer any details of the return, neither in episode or circumstance.
Hamill first appeared in the aptly-named “Tricksters” as aged criminal James Jesse, the original Trickster, reprising his role from the 1990 CBS Flash series (and subsequently even an episode of Justice League Unlimited).
Elsewhere, we know of The Flash Season 2 that Tony Todd will lend his voice to the villainous Zoom, while Insurgent star Keiynan Lonsdale will appear as Wally West, along with Vanessa Williams as Iris’ mother, Violett Beane as Jesse Quick and Demore Barnes as Firestorm villain Tokamak. We’ll also see the returns of Gorilla Grodd, Captain Cold and Golden Glider (including their father), and likely others.
The Flash will return this Tuesday with “The Flash of Two Worlds,” but what can we expect from Mark Hamill’s return as The Trickster?
