Gerald Parel is probably best known for his luminous and complex Marvel covers, but when he puts pencil to paper, he often comes up with rather striking drawings of the likes of Hellcat, Wonder Woman and Zatanna. A little bit cheesecake and a lot of the girl next door, Parel's drawings emphasize how the costumes stretch and wrinkle over his subjects' carefully rendered anatomies, and their expressions seduce with an unconscious smolder.
In addition to these pin-up superheroes, Parel has created a number of illustrated tributes to Masters of the Universe. Much like his Marvel covers, Parel's He-Man fanart plays heavily with light and darkness, showing off the powers of Eternia with crackling lightning and glowing devices. You can see more of Parel's artwork, including his Marvel covers, at his website and his Tumblr.
