Wayne R. Sneedon, better known as Beachhead, is one of the many members of G.I. Joe that rarely shows his face in public. In fact, he's widely recognized for his gruff, tough, real stuff ways, constantly barking orders from beneath the veil of his green ski mask. For one reason or another, Beachhead just never takes that mask off - and now, thanks to Sideshow Collectibles, we know why.

At the end of 2010, Sideshow will release a highly articulate and detailed Beachhead action figure that lifts the mask clean off and consequently reveals one of the most delightful facial expressions I've ever seen on a toy. The rarely seen Beachhead face is pretty much exactly what I'd expect -- seemingly incapable of chilling out, likely on the cusp of an abrasive comment and generally unfit for socialization. Brilliant.

Aside from his lovely mug, Beachhead comes equipped with an outrageous assortment of weapons including a tactical railed crossbow, a .45 1911 pistol, an XMLR-3A laser rifle and a Robinson Arms XCR(R) Short Barrel Rifle with folding stock. I don't really know what any of that means, but considering that they're owned by such a crazed looking soldier, I'm not sure I want to find out.
