Goodbye, TV “Terminator” — Hello, iPhone “Terminator”

The news has come down from Fox that “Terminator: The Sarah Chronicles” is officially cancelled, despite the potential boost for the TV series from the upcoming “Terminator: Salvation” film and the crazy now-series finale where John Connor went into the future with Shirley Manson from the band Garbage and everyone was still fighting Skynet except that dead people weren’t dead anymore and robots were people and the Resistance had never heard of him ZOMG!

Oh well. If “Buffy,” “Angel” and “Battlestar Galactica” are any indication, perhaps we’ll get another season in comic book format someday. Until then, we’ll have to be satisfied with “Salvation” this summer and the classic “Terminator: Death Valley” comics released by Dark Horse on the iPhone for 99 cents an issue.
