FOX’s Gotham has been on a cold snap of teasing its latest early Batman arrival, but another, equally sinister villain will make an ominous debut in the DC drama’s February 29 return. Meet Jurassic World star B.D. Wong’s take on Hugo Strange, in a new photo of the major Bat-Baddie’s debut!

Where previously Wong had displayed a number of potential styles earmarked for a younger version of the famous Batman villain, the final Hugo Strange looks notably traditional in the first photo from TVInsider. We’ll meet the character as a sinister scientist and psychiatrist running Arkham Asylum, who first crosses paths with a down-and-out Oswald Cobblepot.

So reads the official Gotham press release for “Mr. Freeze”:

A CHILLING VILLAIN EMERGES IN GOTHAM ON AN ALL-NEW “GOTHAM” MONDAY, FEBRUARY 29, ON FOX MON FEB 29 8/7c

Penguin takes a hit for Galavan’s murder, but doesn’t let Gordon off easily. Meanwhile, Gordon and Bullock investigate the body-snatching spree of Victor Fries (guest star Nathan Darrow), one of Gotham’s preeminent cryogenics engineers in the all-new “Rise of the Villains: Mr. Freeze” winter premiere episode.

In any case, the back half of Gotham’s second season won’t just introduce us to Mr. Freeze and Hugo Strange, as Jada Pinkett Smith has been confirmed to reprise her first year role as Fish Mooney, last seen being tossed off a roof. There’s also the outside chance that Cameron Monaghan’s Not-Joker might return, given the character’s popularity, but who knows?

In the meantime, check out the latest Gotham spots below, and stay tuned for the February 29 premiere:
