Greatest Best Favorite Avenger Ever: Round Two, Group II
Marvel’s premiere super-team The Avengers have had more than a hundred members since they first assembled in Stan Lee and Jack Kirby‘s Avengers #1 in 1963. The initial roster of Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man and Wasp has expanded over the decades to include multiple mutants, monsters, gods, aliens, super soldiers, and robots — and the occasional extra Ant-Man, or Iron Man, or Hulk.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is just a week away, so we're into the second round of our poll to determine the greatest, best, favorite Avenger of all time. We've taken the top contenders from the previous rounds and broken them up into new voting groups. Your votes will not only help us arrive at a winner, but also give us some clues how the rest of the team stack up against each other. That means you can still vote tactically if you think, say, Machine Man is a much cooler robot than The Vision --- and you can come back and vote again every hour.
The round two groups were assigned blind, except that we broke up the top seeds to keep it interesting. Today's random combinations include a Maximoff showdown between Pietro and Wanda and... who knows, maybe Tigra's a Maximoff, they keep changing that stuff. Black Knight is up against Black Panther, Sam Wilson and Simon Williams tussle over the monogrammed towels, and Luke Cage faces his own little rise of the machines. Remember, we're not asking who'd win in a fight. Pick your favorites, and help us determine the greatest Avenger of all time!
