New ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Clip Serves Up A Bit More Star-Lord [Video]

If you’ve seen the trailer for the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie, you’re likely already familiar with the prominently featured scene in which Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord tiptoes up to an ancient-looking artifact with designs on stealing it in a manner reminiscent of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Now, Marvel Studios has released a slightly longer look at that scene in what you might call a clip or what kind of seems like a slightly different trailer cut. Whatever you’d call it, the video awaits your eyes.

Guardians of the Galaxy is directed by James Gunn and stars Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, and Karen Gillan. It opens August 1.

About Rocket Racoon Co-Creator Bill Mantlo

If you enjoy the Guardians of the Galaxy comic books and plan to see the movie, consider making a donation to the continued healthcare costs of disabled Rocket Raccoon co-creator Bill Mantlo, whose insurance provides only the most minimal level of care for someone with his needs. You can read more about Mr. Mantlo’s life and plight in this in-depth article by Bill Coffin.

Mantlo is just one of numerous veteran comic book creators in need. You can learn more about artists like him and their lives at the Hero Initiative, the comic book industry’s non-profit organization that offers aid to the men and women who created the industry and work which now fuels Hollywood’s biggest success.
