Don't whine about Shatner not being in it, don't complain about how it's "too commercial," and spare me your endless pronouncements about how you will never see it -- because you will, if only so that you can complain about it in more pedantic detail. You don't want creativity, you want familiar things remixed to resemble what was actually creative ten, twenty, or forty years ago. You're not interested in Star Trek as a living, dynamic universe, you're interested in Star Trek as a giant nostalgia snake that eats its own tail and old DVD box sets where you can mouth the lines to every episode.
