You don't want creativity, you want familiar things remixed to resemble what was actually creative ten, twenty, or forty years ago. You're not interested in Star Trek as a living, dynamic universe, you're interested in Star Trek as a giant nostalgia snake that eats its own tail and old DVD box sets where you can mouth the lines to every episode.
