On sale this week is Incognito: Bad Influences #3 by the consistently excellent creative team of Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips, creators of Sleeper and Criminal. Published by Marvel's ICON imprint for creator-owned comics, the Eisner-nominated Incognito tells the story of Zack Overkill, a former supervillain who lived in the U.S. government's witness protection program for many years before returning to action, this time working for the good guys. In Bad Influences, Zack is sent on a mission into the criminal underworld he's worked so hard to leave behind. Just when he thought he was out... they pulled him back in (with superpowers).UPDATE: A previous version of this post suggested there was some urgency with respect to sales of this particular issue of Incognito: Bad Influences, and that writer Ed Brubaker was especially concerned with people going out to buy it. It happens rarely, but something was clearly lost in the translation, and our post created an erroneous belief in some that Incognito was in dire straits. That is not the case. Incognito sells uncommonly well for a creator-owned book and is of course uncommonly good. We regret the misunderstanding.

That said, please enjoy this preview of the new issue of Incognito: Bad Influences by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips.
