‘Iron Man 2′ Alternative Opening Sequence Hits the Web [Video]

Face it. When you think of Tony Stark, the image above is EXACTLY what comes to mind. You know it. I know it. So does everyone born after “Demon In The Bottle” saw print. Iron Man is a drunk. And we like him that way. The makers of “Iron Man 2″ agreed on some level, filming an alternate opening sequence (from which the “You Complete Me” line heard in much of the film’s earlier promos stemmed) and you can judge its effectiveness after the jump. The bootlegged scene sees Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) stumbling around in his mostly motion-capture armor having a hangover-inspired nervous breakdown until he’s reminded by Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) that he’s about to receive a lot of attention — arguably the only thing he’s more addicted to than booze — at Stark Expo.

You can catch a much more polished version of this, along with other deleted scenes and extras, when “Iron Man 2″ sees release on September 28. Of course, if you don’t plan on buying the film… you’re welcome.
