Most toy companies that licensed Iron Man 3 action figures released info about their wares in advance of the movie this past summer, but it looks like Kaiyodo has been waiting for the Blu-ray to drop before announcing its Sci-fi Revoltech Iron Man Mark 42. Standing a little taller than 6", the latest IM3 action figure offering packs 18 points of articulation - not unlike Hasbro's Marvel Legends-scale version. The imported Revoltech will pack quite a few more accessories than its domestic counterpart when it arrives on January 1 of 2014, however, coming equipped with multiple effect parts and hands.

Revoltech's Iron Man Mark 42 figure comes with 4 blast effect parts, 4 swappable hand pieces, and a name plate. As seen in promo images, collectors can even pop their Iron Man apart and configure his armor pieces and effect parts on a Revoltech figure base (sadly, sold separately) to simulate Tony Stark's armor flying around to automatically suit him. The premium figure and its features will cost you, though, with a suggested retail price of roughly $45 USD.

You can take a good solid look at the Sci-Fi Revoltech Series No. 049 Iron Man Mark 42 figure below.
