We've seen (and produced) our share of "Iron Man 2" parodies, but in the case of "Figment Films'" "Ironing Man" spoof, it's definitely worth taking a look back to the original film.

Sure, the video has been circulating since 2009, but if you missed it the first time around (like we did), it's a wonderful reminder of the elements that made the first IM film so successful. The fan trailer's cast replicates the first movie's trailer pretty much shot-for-shot, pulling off an alternate reality where Tony Stark is a fashion designer fated to enhance his armor's metaphorical makeup from a noun into a verb. Did I mention Ironing Man deflects bullets with an ironing board?

With quality acting, more-than-competent special effects and plenty of charm, it's the kind of trailer fans can imagine sitting down to watch a full-length version of. Now, if only they'd make an "Ironing Man 2."

Check out the video after the jump.
