James Stokoe’s Aliens Sketches Will Implant Eggs of Awesomeness in Your Chest Cavity

James Stokoe wowed us a while back with his massive (and massively detailed) 4-square-foot Galactus drawing, a piece of art so good that it seems to have earned him his own Galactus-related story in Marvel’s own Strange Tales II #3, out next week. What we hadn’t seen, until today, were some earlier sketches by Stokoe based on the Aliens franchise, and posted to Brandon Graham’s Livejournal earlier this summer. While they’re clearly unfinished, they’re also clearly awesome, particularly if you imagine it fleshed out with the same insanely meticulous detail that Stokoe brought to the Devourer of Worlds.

We second Graham’s emotion: It would be totally rad to do see an entire book of brutally intricate Alien battles with this guy behind the pencil. Click through above for a bigger version, and check out the rest after the jump.
