Kate Beaton Makes ‘Doctor Who’ Comic Without Ever Watching ‘Doctor Who’

The life of a cartoonist is much busier than some fans may believe — too busy to catch television at times. So when Kate Beaton tweeted that she had never seen the popular BBC series Dr. Who, but decided to make a comic about it anyway, die-hard fans of the good doctor held their breath in anticipation, perhaps expecting that their favorite show’s pristine image would be tarnished by an outsider. But considering we know better here at CA, we can safely say you’ll be delighted to see what Beaton came up with after the jump.So how did the celebrated creator do sans Who history?
