If ever you thought the first season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow over the top, just wait until Season 2. Not only will the team face off against a “Legion of Doom” comprised of returning villains like Malcolm Merlyn and the Reverse Flash, so too have new Justice Society of America heroes come aboard, and even a certain Mayor Queen!

Fresh out of Comic-Con 2016, the Legends of Tomorrow panel confirmed that in addition to Patrick J. Adams’ Hourman, Season 2's Justice Society would also feature the heroic roles of Obsidian, Stargirl and Dr. Mid-nite. And speaking of heroes, Arrow star Stephen Amell will also appear in the Season 2 premiere, guesting as “Mayor Queen.”

Perhaps the biggest news of all comes from the new big bads, including a “Legion of Doom” comprised of Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller). Letscher will act as a series regular to Legends, while McDonough’s role will recur, and Barrowman and Miller will appear across all series.

Elsewhere of Legends of Tomorrow Season 2, we know Nick Zano will play the Steel-y Dr. Nate Heywood, along with Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Vixen, two of several new heroic characters added to replace Ciara Renee and Falk Hentschel’s Kendra and Carter Hall. Patrick J. Adams will also likely appear as Hourman, following his arrival in the first Legends of Tomorrow finale.

We’ll surely hear more of Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 soon, but watch the trailer above!
