The time-turning nature of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow already confirmed we’d visit a variety of different periods in comic history, potentially featuring old and new characters alike. Now, another familiar Arrow face has been confirmed to rise, as the Legends link up with Matt Nable’s Ra’s al Ghul.

ComicBook.com confirmed that Nable would return to the role after his Season 3 exit, an announcement that likely ties into Season 4 villain Damien Darhk putting in a younger appearance. After all, with one League of Assassins member on the team, it stands to reason Legends might explore some of the history between Nable’s Ra’s al Ghul, Damien Darhk and perhaps Malcolm Merlyn.

So reads the official Legends of Tomorrow description:

When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

Set for 15 episodes (to start), thus far we know Legends of Tomorrow will include among its cast Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber), Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh), Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), Caity Lotz, time-traveler Rip Hunter (Doctor Who alum Arthur Darvill), Valentina Vostok (Stephanie Corneliussen) and DC big bad Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).

Legends of Tomorrow will premiere on January 21, but what do we make of the latest addition?
