We were promised by Ghostbusters director Paul Feig there would be plenty of toy presence for the all-female remake of the classic supernatural comedy. To this point though, only the core Mattel action figures had been shown. Now, just a week before Toy Fair 2016 kicks off, Lego has lifted the spooky sheet off its planned Ghostbusters set, and it's a doozy.

The Ghostbusters Ecto-1 and Ecto-2 set will feature all four of the leading ladies as minifigures, along with a daemon (this film's version of ghosts, I assume) and a itty-bitty Chris Hemsworth. Of course the set is built around the iconic transport of the spectre-hunting team, and will include a the retooled 1984 Cadillac Superior Hearse as the main building attraction.

All five of the minifigures will included reversable heads for two different expressions. The Ecto-1 has enough seating room for the four Ghostbusters, but you can keep Hemsworth's Kevin in on the action with Ecto-2. There are also four proton packs and what I'm assuming are the new traps the team will use in the film. There's no piece count available for the set yet, and it's hard to use the $60 price point as a metric since other similarly-priced sets fluctuate so drastically between 400-800 pieces. That's a pretty wide range.

It's a rare sight that one Lego set not in the various girl-themed lines would have this many female minifigures, and it's nice to see that Lego won't be splitting up the team into multiple sets like it has other licensed properties in the past. We're looking at you, Scooby-Doo. Also, you'll finally be able to have a Sookie to place in the Lego Dragonfly Inn you've been building since the Gilmore Girls ended in 2007.

The Lego Ghostbusters Ecto-1 and Ecto-2 set will be available beginning on July 1 for $59.99. We'll see what other new sets Lego has planned next week at Toy Fair.
