Thanos, Mad God of Titan and the guy who loves Death more than anybody, is getting back to what he does best in Thanos #1, by Jeff Lemire and Mike Deodato, and what he does best is kill people in huge numbers.

When I say people, I'm including aliens of course. Thanos doesn't care what species you are; he's always going to like Death way more than he likes you. In this unlettered preview, we see Thanos apparently wiping out a whole army on an unknown planet. We don't know exactly why, but we know it's Thanos so he barely needs a reason.

We also see his brother, former Avenger Starfox, imploring the Champion of the Universe about something, presumably to help him stop whatever Thanos' current plan is. Deodato draws a great Thanos, and Lemire seems like an excellent choice to write him, so this book is probably worth a look.

Thanos #1 is out November 16, and features variant covers by Ron Lim and Jeff Dekal, plus a toy cover by Alex Kropinak.
