The most recent news of Marvel’s Netflix Defenders unfortunately raised more questions than answers, confirming an eventual second season of Jessica Jones, but without word of when it might premiere, or when to expect Luke Cage later this year. Now, a new tweet has many eyeing Luke Cage for November, but not for the right reasons.

So, remember when people mistook Daredevil tweets for a sign that Gladiator might suit up in Season 2, or that Matt Murdock himself might have a new suit, thanks to some stylized images of items from the first season? Welp, here comes Jessica Jones and Luke Cage to throw their own misleading tweet in the ring!

As you can see above, the “Cage - November” heading on the above folder could be made to suggest that the titular series will arrive on Netflix streaming as such, but neither Netflix nor Marvel intended to make any such announcement. Rather, if you’ll recall, Jessica Jones’ first season debuted in November, one of the early scenes of which was Jessica keeping tabs on Luke, for which the Marvel private eye would keep, you know, a file.

You can also make out that the folder above reads “Hope - Missing,” another reference to the events of Season 1, and not an indication of anything about future Netflix content. Granted it’s more than likely that Luke Cage could premiere in November, filling Jessica Jones’ premiere window from last year, but that has nothing to do with the tweet. The more you know!

Thus far of Netflix’s Luke Cage, we know that Sons of Anarchy vet Theo Rossi will play “Shades” Alvarez, alongside Mahershala Ali’s Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes, Alfre Woodard’s Mariah Dillard, Frank Whaley’s Detective Rafael Scarfe and Simone Missick’s Misty Knight. Marvel menace “Diamondback” has been rumored to appear, while Rosario Dawson  is confirmed to her reprise her role as Claire Temple for a more significant arc. Star Mike Colter has also previously spoken to the musicality and flashbacks of the series, which Cheo Hodari Coker will showrun.

We’ll still have Daredevil Season 2 in between (while casting continues on Iron Fist), but stay tuned for actual news of Luke Cage’s 2016 premiere when it arrives.
