General Zod Demands Superman’s Surrender, Kneeling Presumably Optional [Video]

The Man of Steel website updated on Sunday night with this heavily distorted transmission from General Zod. The clip could constitute some manner of SPOILER for the new Superman film, so click on at your own risk.

It's probably too soon to say but it seems from this clip that Man of Steel will flip the script on the classic Zod-Superman story, with Michael Shannon's Zod being the pursuer of Kal-El, who seems to be presented here as a Kryptonian fugitive that Earth's been "sheltering."

Meanwhile, some kind of Kryptonian countdown is happening at a website called I Will Find Him that seems to end sometime on Tuesday.

Directed by Zack Snyder and based on the DC Comics character created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Man of Steel opens June 14.
