2015 is undoubtedly the year of Star Wars. In addition to the highly-anticipated debut of The Force Awakens, Marvel began releasing a new line of Star Wars comics earlier this year, including solo character books for Darth Vader and Chewbacca, and Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens — Shattered Empire. If you haven’t had a chance to pick up some of these titles yet, you’re in luck: Marvel is giving away a free sampler featuring previews of the first issue of several of their Star Wars comics.

According to THR, Marvel will begin giving away the free samplers at comic book retailers nationwide on December 9, a full nine (okay, technically eight) days before The Force Awakens hits theaters. The 56-page sampler will include previews of the first issues of Darth Vader, Princess Leia and Lando, as well as Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens — Shattered Empire. In addition, fans will also get a special preview of the upcoming crossover comic Vader Down.

Following the rapid, massive success of Star Wars No. 1 back in January, Marvel now has three ongoing comics hitting shelves monthly: Star Wars, Darth Vader, and Star Wars: Kanan (based on Star Wars Rebels). All of which feature prequel stories leading up to the release of the latest installment in the film franchise.

December will also see the release of The Force Awakens prequel comic C-3PO, followed by the new miniseries Star Wars: Obi-Wan and Anakin in January.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18.
