Following on the news yesterday that the studio has rescheduled the delayed Cinematic Universe Phase One box set, Marvel has released more details of what to expect from the revised line-up of material in the 10-disc set.According to Marvel, the collection will include both regular Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D presentations of The Avengers, Captain America: The First Avenger and Thor, in addition to regular Blu-ray editions of Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2. The tenth disc will be what's described as "a top-secret Bonus Disc filled with never-before-seen deleted scenes, extended scenes, featurettes and more," including a new Avengers-centric short entitled "And Then Shwarma After" and the previously-teased peak at both Iron Man 3 and Marvel's Phase Two movies in general.

Additionally, those who buy the set will, Marvel says, "be granted special access to SHIELD's most confidential archives," including "exclusive memorabilia (prop reproductions and artifacts) from the motion pictures." In case you're wondering, that means fake newspapers announcing Iron Man's first appearance, Steve Roger's 4F certificate from WWII and your own cosmic cube. Sadly, Hulk Hands are not included.

To further promote the set -- which now comes in a slightly more generic-looking briefcase, following the litigation that came from the original packaging -- Marvel released this alternate ending from Thor, which appears on the tenth disc in the set. Note the mention of SWORD in passing...

Marvel's Cinematic Universe: Phase One is scheduled for an April 2, 2013 release.
