Marvel is killing it with its licensed Star Wars title but even going back as far as the '70s, the publisher has always really excelled when it came to comics adaptations of the cinematic releases. Next month, Jody HouserEmilio Laiso and Oscar Bazaldua bring Rogue One: A Star Wars Story to comics with an official adaptation that includes brand new story content originally cut from the finished film.

The unlettered preview for the first issue features Jyn Erso's breakout from the Empire's prison transport, as well as her meeting with Mon Mothma as the Rebels plan their next move. The first issue of Star Wars: Rogue One: Adaptation arrives digitally and in comic stores on April 5, and you can check out the first look preview below:
