Masked is a new title from Titan Comics by Serge Lehman and Stéphane Créty that offers a different sci-fi spin on superheroics. The story begins when mysterious technological anomalies start springing up all over the place, inspiring one traumatized vet to take on a new role to protect the city of Paris.

The Anomalies are machines that seem to appear out of nowhere and grow on their own, but no-one understands what they are for. Everything changes when one of them takes human form and attempts a public assassination. Veteran Frank Braffort witnesses the attack, and while we haven't seen it for sure yet, it's a safe bet that he's the one who'll put on the costume seen on the covers, with the mask covering his face and the distinctive scar over his eye.

Masked #1 features five different covers, and comes out November 23.
