In case yesterday's look at March M.O.D.O.K. Madness didn't quite satisfy your desire for all things related to the giant-headed scientist supreme, I've got a little something extra for you: Hooray For Gooba's touching, toe-tapping love song, "MODOK, MODOK (Why Are You Killing Everybody?)," available to stream from the band's MySpace and well worth the three fun minutes you'll spend listening to it.

In reality, "Hooray For Gooba" is Canadian comic book fan Daniel Wagner, who not only lists four-color musical acts like Dazzler, the Amazing Joy Buzzards and Josie and the Pussycats as his influences, but even went so far as to name his actual band after an obscure-but-awesome panel from a 1964 "Legion of Super-Heroes" story that features a competition where men throw dinosaurs with "deadly evolutionary buzzsaw blades" through hoops:

And really, if that's what Wagner's basing his band around, that's something I can get behind. And if you find yourself hungry for more comic-influenced rock 'n' roll, check out Kirby Krackle, who just dropped their new album today in preparation for a concert at this weekend's Emerald City ComiCon in Seattle!Lyrics:

M.O.D.O.K. (Why Are You Killing Everybody?)

Big fat floating head, tiny little arms
You're so hard to cuddle, but I can't resist your charms
I know what you're designed for, but I can't stop loving you

[chorus]
MODOK, MODOK
Why are you killing everybody?
MODOK, MODOK
You're a Mobile Organism Designed Only for Killing
That explains everything

Advanced Idea Mechanics designed you for a purpose
I'm not trying to change you, but let me tell you what your worth is
Don't let them tell you that you're ugly, because you're beautiful to me

[chorus]

[bridge]
MODOK, you're just misunderstood
MODOK, it's not your fault
MODOK, you can't help the way you were designed
MODOK, please stop killing me

[chorus]
