If you're a fan of the classic 1987 animated "G.I. Joe" film - and how could you not be, what with the copious spores and the itty bitty ditty bags and the once-was-a-man's and the Cobra-la-la-la's -then prepare to change your diapers, because Big Lob is headed your way.

The official G.I. Joe Collectors' Club has announced their exclusive action figure offerings for 2010, and one of them is none other than Big Lob, the sports-inclined Joe introduced in the '87 film as one of Beach Head's many Rawhide recruits. For some reason, Big Lob never had an action figure counterpart to speak of until now. I'm not thrilled that it's taken this long to happen, but I'm sure as heck going to do whatever I can to get my paws on the new toy.

Luckily, I don't have to do anything more than join the Collectors' Club by March 16, 2010 and select the 3 3/4" action figure option to get my very own free Big Lob toy. And by free, I mean pay a minimum $42 annual fee to become a member of the club. But hey, I do love me some Big Lob, so I'll think about it. Or you, dear reader, could always pay for my subscription. That works, too.

One thing that I won't be doing is selecting the club's other exclusive, the Urban Adventurer. Standing proud at twelve inches high, this action figure gives Norman Osborn a run for the title of Least Plausible Hairdo Ever. Seriously, is that hair or a Koosh ball? Disgusting!
