It's been a little while since TT Games loosed some Lego Marvel Super Heroes video game images or footage online, but the company has more than made up for the dry spell with the latest drop of new screen shots and nearly seven minutes of gameplay footage featuring Iron Man, the Hulk and Spider-Man, squaring off against the Abomination and Sandman in New York City. It seems one of the cosmic bricks from Lego Silver Surfer's smashed board has fallen into the wrong hands, leading to Sandman and cohorts taking over NYC's Grand Central Terminal. Fortunately for the minifigs citizens of the LMSH world, Nick Fury is extra good at getting Marvel's heroes to work together to fight evil and pick up the pieces.

Set for an October 31 release date (according to preorder sites) on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Playstation Vita, and PC, Lego Marvel Super Heroes will put players in control of more than 100 potential unlockable characters from across the Marvel U as they protect the Earth from Loki and even Lego Galactus. You can check out the latest LMSH screens and video footage below.
