"Young Justice" fans got their first clear look at Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment's upcoming animated series today following the "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" panel with a behind-the-scenes video full of new animation.

Featuring YJ producers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti, the video went far beyond typical teasers, showing off what seems to be completed series footage and providing clear plot information.

A beefy team including Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Superboy, Miss Martian, Artemis (who seems to be a mashup of Cissie King-Jones as Arrowette and Mia Dearden as Speedy with an Amazon's name) and even Speedy/Red Arrow are slated to star in the first season. Unlike the YJ comic, however, the teens will act directly under a very present Justice League in a world where Superman has only been around for about ten years.

The producers also hinted at the edgy nature of the show, promising dangerous situations and at least one death in the first season.

Catch the video's behind-the-scenes-look at YJ after the jump.
