Here's the thing about Ninjak: It is, and I do not say this lightly, one of the most psychologically compelling superhero books I've ever read. In every story, a different aspect of Colin King's mind is examined, from his horrible childhood and relationship to his uncaring super-spy parents to his own string of self-destructive screwups as an adult, looking at what makes a man want to put on a ninja mask, learn to use a katana, and take freelance assassination jobs for the Government.

Of course, at the end of the day, it's also still a book called Ninjak that involves a purple ninja battling ridiculously super-powered enemies who have extra arms or the ability to set things on fire with their hair, so you get that psychological profiling in a pretty interesting way.
