The Amazing Spider-Man movie
will see Peter Parker face crooks, cops, the mystery of his parents' disappearance and of course the Lizard. Believe it or not, though, this is hardly the most agonizing trial the hero has ever faced. In a Spider-Man Mad Lib book from 1981 the wallcrawler faced down perhaps his greatest foe: smelling like a gross dude. That's right, in addition to battling Electro, Spider-Man also had to confront his own rankosity, donning a variation of his Bombastic Bag Man suit in order to cleanse his normal costume and cease smelling like a rank heap of (noun) to Mary Jane.
