Play ‘DC Universe Online’ with Jim Lee Tonight

After years of development, Sony Online Entertainment's DC Universe Online will finally see commercial release on January 11 -- or 1/11/11 if you want to get really kewl about it. As a reward for the game's passionate beta community, SOE will close the demo version of the game with a special event where beta players can join DC Comics Co-Publisher Jim Lee in a number of fight scenarios they're calling Battle of the Legends. Lee, who also served as Executive Creative Director for the massively multiplayer online role playing game based on the DC Comics superheroes, will play as Future Batman and Future Joker, with whom players can align themselves with to take down various foes.Lee will be playing the PC version of the DC Universe Online beta at 5PM Pacific Standard Time, when he will assume the role of Future Batman. The legendary comics artist and über-gamer will then hop on the PlayStation 3 version at 7PM to play as Future Joker. If you can't "attend" this event, SOE will be tracking all the action on the DCUO Facebook page.
