Poison Ivy and More Mark ‘DC Universe Online’ Web Site Redesign

It’s been a busy week for Sony’s “DC Universe Online” MMORPG. Not only has E3 yielded the game’s first official trailer and a proper release date, it also seems to have inspired a design overhaul at the game’s Web site. A fresh layout isn’t the only change to the site, however, as new concept art, screen shots and wallpapers featuring Batman’s cautionary tale against romance with plants herself, Poison Ivy.

Poison Ivy is the latest in a line of character releases from DCUO that most recently includes Black Adam and Power Girl. So far her actual gameplay hasn’t been specifically showcased in Sony’s official videos, but her plant controlling powers seem pretty evident from screen shots. Like most of DCUO’s official cast, Ivy’s powers serve as an indicator of the kinds of abilities players can choose for their own custom character, meaning flowery fatalities (Nah, I’m not referring to “Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe”) could very well serve fans when the game hits stores on November 2.
