So, Jeph Loeb is in charge of Marvel Entertainment's brand spanking new television department. Sure the appointment of Loeb and the creation of Marvel's TV wing are new developments, but the history of Marvel on the small screen is storied. Who could forget the amazing "X-Men" and "Spider-Man" cartoons of the 1990s, or the iconic "The Incredible Hulk" show with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno? That's not even mentioning the best show of them all - the live-action "Power Pack" series!

What? Don't remember that one? That's because the attempt to bring a live-action version of "Power Pack" to the tube never really took off, thanks to the pilot being a little... well, strange, to put it lightly. Filled with classic early '90s haircuts, dubious fashion choices and cheese aplenty, there's a reason this "Power Pack" show never got off the ground: it wasn't very good.

You can judge the show's quality for yourself, as the entire pilot episode is available online. Give it a watch and see what you think, but I think you'll agree that Loeb is going to want to steer the Marvel TV brand in a pretty darn different direction than what you'll see in the "Power Pack" pilot. [Assistant Editor's Note: In all fairness, it's still better than "Mutant X"]
