A hero is defined by their villains, and the world of superhero comic books is filled with some of the scariest and silliest bad guys around. Rogues’ Gallery aims to settle the score and determine who is the true arch-nemesis for some of our favorite superheroes, and we need your help to do it!

The Justice Society of America has a long and storied history in comic books, and has built up quite the impressive list of villains over the years. However, we need to know which one is the JSA's ultimate nemesis?

Usually with Rogues' Gallery, a clear favorite stands ahead of the rest as the top seed, but it's less obvious with the Justice Society. Vandal Savage stands a good chance at reigning supreme with an increased profile thanks to Legends of Tomorrow, but JSA mega-fans might not consider him number one.

Then there's Per Degaton, who often gets overlooked, but can be one of the most ruthless and calculating villains in the DC Universe. The Ultra-Humanite has an intellect that can't be matched, and characters like Icicle, The Wizard and The Gambler all helped make up the ranks of the Injustice Society.

Perhaps it's a newer JSA villain like Black Adam, who was brought in as a sometimes ally/sometimes enemy in the early '00s, or Onimar Synn who ruled over Thanagar with an iron fist?

Let us know who you think gets the top spot as best JSA villain, and we’ll be back in a few weeks with a countdown. You can vote for up to three selections in the poll!
