Rogues’ Gallery: Who Is Superman’s Ultimate Enemy? [Poll]

A hero is defined by their villains, and the world of comic books is filled with some of the scariest and silliest bad guys around. Rogues’ Gallery aims to settle the score and determine who is the true arch-nemesis for some of our favorite heroes, and we need your help to do it!

Superman is not only one of the greatest superheroes of all time, but he set the standard for everything that followed, and as such many of his villains are just as iconic and archetypal. With a roster of baddies stretching back to the late '30s, it's going to be tough to narrow it down, but we need to know who The Man of Tomorrow's ultimate enemies are!

Lex Luthor pretty much has this in a wrap, but he follows a trend recently that also features the likes of Magneto, Doctor Doom, and Megatron, where the hero's ultimate enemy becomes an ally and a hero of their own. Does that knock Lex down to the point that someone like Doomsday, Darkseid or Brainiac could slip in? Probably not, but this is our last poll of 2016, and the year might throw us a curveball on its way out!

As a big Superman fan, I'm also a big fan of the sillier villains. Mister Mxyzptlk is a personal favorite, but there's also the likes of the Titano, The Toyman and The Prankster to consider. Plus, there's plenty of evil doppelgangers aside from Bizarro, including Composite Superman, Cyborg Superman and Superboy Prime.
