Rogues’ Gallery: Who Is Thor’s Greatest Enemy [Poll]

A hero is defined by their villains, and the world of superhero comic books is filled with some of the scariest and silliest bad guys around. Rogues’ Gallery aims to determine who is the true arch-nemesis for some of our favorite superheroes, and we need your help to do it!

This week we want to know who is the most fearsome foe that the God of Thunder has ever faced. Who is Thor's ultimate enemy?

Due to his longevity, the focus here is on the original Thor Odinson, and naturally the favorite for this poll must be Thor's own brother Loki, who has been a constant thorn in his side dating back millennia, and is now even more popular thanks to Tom Hiddleston's performance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, he has been portrayed as a hero for the past five years or so in comics such as Young Avengers and Loki: Agent of Asgard, so perhaps that knocks him a bit lower down the rankings?

Then of course there are other menaces such as Hela, Ulik or The Enchantress. Malekith The Accursed didn't get a great showing in the films, but he's one of the most iconic villains in comics, and who can forget Surtur, who brought doom to all nine realms?

Don't count out the more mortal of Thor's enemies, as characters like Absorbing Man and Mr. Hyde have proven time and time again that they can go toe-to-toe with the God of Thunder. The Wrecking Crew have weapons enchanted by Loki to try to overwhelm Thor, and their numbers advantage may give them a leg up in the poll.

Perhaps you're a fan of a newer threat such as Gorr The God Butcher, whose vendetta against the divine stretched across time and space. Maybe you're a big fan of The Minotaur vexing the current Thor with a combination of power and influence?
