Greg Rucka's return to Wonder Woman was one of the standout announcements from DC's Wondercon panel in March, and with art by Liam Sharp and Nicola Scott it's easily one of the most anticipated books of the new relaunch. In honor of Sharp's birthday yesterday, DC Comics unveiled new preview pages from Wonder Woman: Rebirth #1.

Sharp's unlettered pages are gorgeously detailed, as Diana explores what look to be the ruins of Olympus, and clashes with mythical beasts out to stop her. Like the best comic art they convey the story cleanly and clearly before any words are added to the page, and frankly, we wouldn't be surprised if these were the finished pages.

Wonder Women is set to be published biweekly as part of DC Rebirth, with Liam Sharp and Nicola Scott alternating issues. Scott's story will be an origin story titled "Wonder Woman: Year One", while Sharp's will be set in the present and titled "The Lies," as everything Diana knows about her beginnings are shaken to their core.
