Can a trailer spoil a film if the scenes in question are taken out of context? That’s been an ongoing debate among movie fans for some time, but here’s a new question: Can a trailer itself be spoiled? Well, if this X-Men: Apocalypse rumor is correct (and it probably is), then consider this post a spoiler for the new trailer, which will reportedly arrive online after it premieres this week at Cinema-Con in Las Vegas. The spoiler-sensitive among you should probably turn back now.

Still with us? Okay. Although The Wolverine 2 is Hugh Jackman’s final outing as the iconic X-Men character, it’s long been rumored that we’ll see him on the big screen again before that film hits theaters in 2017. Bryan Singer has been coy about the possibility of Jackman appearing in X-Men: Apocalypse, but according to a new rumor over at Heroic Hollywood, we will indeed see Wolverine in the upcoming sequel.

Per the report, Jackman’s Wolverine will appear in the new 3D trailer for Apocalypse, which debuts this week at Cinema-Con. But there is still a bit of skepticism — the report doesn’t clarify how Wolverine appears in the trailer. Is it a flashback? A collection of previous footage building up to Apocalypse? There are a few ways Wolverine could be featured in this trailer without actually appearing in X-Men: Apocalypse.

But there are also a few ways Jackman could be involved in the new X-Men sequel, and Singer recently confirmed that there’s at least one scene featuring his old pal William Stryker, further lending credence to the idea that Wolverine will appear — even briefly — in Apocalypse.

So take it with a grain of salt for now, but Heroic Hollywood has a pretty solid track record with superhero rumors, and given the persistent reports of Jackman’s involvement, this one seems quite plausible.

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27.
