Like, zoinks, dudes. Almost four decades after their initial 1972 meetings in "The New Scooby Doo Movies" features "The Caped Crusader Caper," and ""The Dynamic Scooby Doo Affair," Scooby Doo will once again team up with the Dark Knight in an upcoming episode of "Batman: The Brave and the Bold."If the episode titled "Bat-Mite Presents: Batman's Strangest Cases!," is any indication, Batman and Scooby Doo's crossover will likely follow the kind of rules only an interdimensional imp would muster.

According to The Comics Continuum, the episode will feature three different incarnations of Batman, with Scooby starring in one segment along with a special (likely celebrity) guest star playing themselves. It probably won't be the Harlem Globe Trotters, but writer Paul Dini and director Ben Jones are the kind of force that will make the most of this premise.

The episode's other two planned personas are currently unknown, but it should be interesting to see which Batmen make the cut.
