Just a little more than two years after its initial debut on the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Store, Ubisoft is delivering what's likely the final DLC pack for Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game. Set for an August 19 release, the 400 Microsoft points/$5 DLC will deliver online multiplayer support, something fans have been clamoring for since the game dropped in 2010. It'll also see Scott's roommate Wallace Wells metaphorically leap from across his in-game secret shop counter to become a full-fledged playable fighter, which should make visiting his shop super meta in the game. This update follows previous DLC that gave players access to bonus modes like dodge ball and a playable Knives Chau.

There's no official word on when the DLC will arrive on PSN for the PlayStation 3 version of the game, or how much it'll cost, but Ubisoft's Alex Monney confirmed that it's happening and that details will be revealed "at a later date" on Twitter.

While fans wait for August 19 (and later), those who've already cleared every aspect of the game up to this point can always read the newly colored version of Bryan Lee O'Malley's modern classic, or do the timewarp and watch the pitch that got Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game made back in 2010:
