Our very first look at Suicide Squad came via that now-famous image of Jared Leto as a heavily-tatted, street thug version of the Joker. In keeping with the tattoo angle, Will Smith and Margot Robbie had a little fun on the Suicide Squad set, permanently inking co-star Joel Kinnaman and director David Ayer.

Ayer tweeted out this photo, teasing Harley’s Tattoo Parlour:

That was followed by this image of Robbie — in full Harley Quinn make-up and costume — giving Ayer a tattoo that says “SKWAD.” You know, because that’s how they spell squad on the streets or something.

Kinnaman posted this photo to his Instagram, revealing a matching tattoo given to him by Will Smith:

So, does this mean Harley Quinn is responsible for all those crazy Joker tats, or was the crew just playing around with the idea from that (likely fake) image that was floating around a few months ago?

Suicide Squad stars Robbie as Harley Quinn, Smith as Deadshot, Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. The film, based on the popular DC comic, centers on a group of super-villains brought together by a government agent to hopefully stop villains more evil than they are.

Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 5, 2016.
