In case you missed the massive 32-page preview that ran last week, we here at ComicsAlliance are pretty excited about Jarrett Williams's pro-wrestling graphic novel "Super Pro K.O.," and today, we've got another reason to love it. In order to celebrate the book's launch at the San Diego Comic-Con, Williams and Oni Press are giving attendees the chance to compete for the actual SPKO Championship Belt:

We teased this a little last week, but don't spend your time arguing at the airport about how you need to take your steel chair and/or mystical urn on the flight with you. Rather than grappling within the squared circle, the championship will be settled by Pro Wrestling's more important aspect: Showing off your skills on the mic by cutting a promo.

Potential macho men, Hulkamaniacs and ultimate warriors will have a chance to run their mouths at booth #1833 with video recorded and posted on the Oni Press blog and a winner determined by Williams and a special guest judge, "Scott Pilgrim" creator Bryan Lee O'Malley. According to Oni's announcement, "Old school wrastlin' costume and persona encouraged," which means I will be packing my luchador mask after all.
