The independent animation studio that's brought the world Adventure Time and Fanboy and Chum Chum could be turning their attention to an equally cute, but profoundly more foul-mouthed series. According to the official Frederator Studios blog, they've been making the Hollywood rounds with Vermont's Comic Laureate James Kochalka trying to sell networks on a "top secret project." Fortunately for fans in suspense, the blog blatantly links to character designs for a potential SuperF*ckers animated series! The Frederator blog specifies Cartoon Network as a stop on Kochalka's trip, hosting a photo of he and Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward together. Although Frederator's worked with both Nickelodeon and CN in the past, Kochalka's SuperF*ckers comic seems like Adult Swim fare at best considering it depicts a "team" of super powered teens carelessly indulging in the adult world of sex, drugs, rock and roll and occasional manslaughter.

SF publisher Top Shelf Productions promoted the comic book series' first collection with an animated commercial and theme song performed by James Kochalka Superstar back in 2009. Check out the extremely NSFW clip for a taste of what could be on the animated horizon:
