When it comes to chronicling young love and music, fankind's all about Bryan Lee O'Malley's Scott Pilgrim series and the highly anticipated "Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World" feature film. That's why it's no wonder that comic book hooligans Superfun Yeah Yeah Rocketship have been inspired to see off the comic's sixth and final volume "Scott Pilgrim's Finest Hour" this week with a music video of their own.

Following in the footsteps of its earlier "I like Marvel, You Like DC," SFYYR filter Scott Pilgrim's quest for love through a chiptunesified soundtrack all their own. Over the course of roughly three minutes, the band's video sees a version of Scott fighting for Ramona on a shoestring budget. It may not have the direction of Edgar Wright, the star power of Michael Cera or the special effects budget of Universal, but "My Finest Hour" does a charming job of imagining one possible outcome to one of this generation's most anticipated comic book (and by association, film) finales.

Check out "My Finest Hour" after the jump.
